  1. What tickets are valid for this cashback promo?

Promo is applicable for trips with tickets available for booking within the promo period. Valid for current trips and trips with advanced booking.

 

  1. Is there a minimum purchase amount required for the cashback promo to be valid? If my ticket amount is under P125, will I get P125 cash back?

There is no minimum purchase amount required for the promo to be valid. If the total purchase amount is under P125, then GCash will just cashback that same amount. (e.g. total purchase amount = P108, then cashback amount = P108)

 

  1. The P125 cashback is per transaction regardless of number of tickets purchased, right?

Yes, the P125 cashback is per transaction regardless of the number of tickets purchased.

 

  1. If my 1st transaction is a purchase of one (1) ticket, and my 2nd transaction is for another single ticket, am I still entitled for the P250 cashback?

Yes. The cashback applies regardless of how many tickets are purchased per transaction.

 

  1. If I buy tickets the day before (August 31, 2017) or the next day (November 1, 2017), will I still get a cashback?

No. Promo is valid from August 1 (12:00AM) – October 31 (11:59PM), 2017 only.

 

  1. What if I bought tickets from Pinoy Travel more than twice between October 1 and October 31, 2017 how much cashback will I get?

You will only get a cashback for the first 2 transactions you made in Pinoy Travel within October 1 and October 31, 2017.

 

  1. What is GCash?

GCash is a BSP-regulated mobile money service that lets you buy load, purchase items, send and receive money, pay bills, and more using your Globe or TM mobile number.

 

  1. How do I create a GCash account?

With GCash, your account is your Globe or TM mobile number. Registration is done through a simple, one-time process via the GCash App or dialing *143#. After registration, these channels can be also be used to access your GCash account:

  • Download the app
  • Enter your mobile number and click Register in the prompt
  • Provide the necessary information as prompted
  • Nominate a 4-digit MPIN

  1. Which trips on Pinoy Travel is GCash accepted as a payment option?

GCash payment is available for all trips on Pinoy Travel.

 

  1. When will the P125 cashback be seeded to my account?

The P125 cashback will be seeded to your GCash wallet within 5 days of the successful Pinoy Travel transaction. (GCash will seed the amount every Tuesday and Friday starting Aug. 4 until Sept. 1.

  1. What is Pinoy Travel?

PinoyTravel is a company that aggregates provincial/long distance bus and ferry comapnies into one site to give you a single a view of services available to your desired destination. Some of the services published can be reserved directly from the site, the others are not yet- but we are working really hard to get everyone on board!
We are the biggest service provider of this kind in the Philippines and we have had many happy and repeat customers. We may not be as “high tech” as our counterparts abroad but since we launched in Oct 2013, we are been improving a lot.

 

  1. Why would I have to reserve a seat in advance?

To make sure you have a seat at the date and time of your desired travel, we urge you to book early because there are limited seats available – specially when youir desired date to travel is on peak periods or weekends

 

  1. Why do I have to wait 24 hours to know if my reservation can be served?

This due to our current process with the bus partners. They are new to this online booking service and they would like to take things slowly. But some are scheduled for instant confirmation very soon.

 

  1. Why didn’t I receive email about the confirmation?

Please check you spam folder. It might have been categorized by your email server as spam. If its not there, please email our customer service support and inquire. There are times when its way past the 24-hour limit but the seat may still be available

 

  1. How will I get the bus ticket purchased from Pinoy Travel?

Upon payment we will send you a travel VOUCHER which you will have to print (per way), and bring it with you when you take your trip. You hand off the voucher to the designated person in the bus station and they will issue you the bus ticket. Why so? Because the bus ticket is the Offcial Receipt of your base bus fare and PinoyTravel is not allowed to issue that in behalf of the bus company.
Our bus partners do REQUIRE that printout and may not honor a soft copy from your smartphone, tablet or laptop

 

  1. I would like to cancel/rebook my trip. Is this possible?

We follow the guidelines of each bus company for cancellations and re-booking. In general, when the trip is cancelled due to bad weather or cancelled by the bus company for other reasons, re-booking is allowed without additional fees. If re-booking is initiated by you, there might be charges. Most bus companies do not allow refund. Get in touch with our customer service to understand what guidelines apply to you.

 

  1. I missed my bus, what do I do?

If you miss your bus, you will have to buy another ticket to get into another one.

 

  1. What do I do to change the date and/or time of my reservation?

This will be considered re-booking and re-booking policies apply.
